Bad news! Robin got an infected appendix so needs some time to recover. Therefore we have to cancel the Oranjerock show next saturday.

FEBRUARY 15TH 2006

Another five months without site updates and without playing regularly. So you ask me are the rumours true? No, we're not splitting up. But it's true that Five Years Later has known his better days. Well fuck that, at the 10th of march we're gonna rock like never before. At de Kelder in Amersfoort, Nailpin (B) is headliner. Be there.

SEPTEMBER 22TH 2005

Next friday Stuck In A Day's latest compilation will be out, featuring a new song from us called Go Full Speed. We recorded it in 3 days but I (Robin) think it sounds even better than our latest demo. Our first show since a reaaally long time is coming up! We'll play an unplugged show in the bar/lounge/restaurant Zandfoort a/d Eem. It'll be the first time we'll play a set like this and we promise you it's gonna be really cool. Some brandnew and changed songs and stuff.. so see you there! Hey it's been a little quiet around FYL lately, mainly because of Robin's exams and auditions. But now I'm all done with that crap so it's time to hit the stage again! And guess what: tomorrow we'll play in the EKKO in Utrecht! Besides that coming up a couple of festivals, see you there!

Wooow our releashow was fucking awesome! The venue sold out, Travoltas and Laternpoll were great, so much cool people showed up and we sold a lot from our new cd and merch! Even snel een berichtje in het Nederlands, want het gaat toch alleen maar Amersfoorters aan.. De laatste weken hebben we een aantal interviews gedaan met lokale kranten: Amersfoortse Courant, Amersfoort Nu en zo kwam dus vandaag het artikel in de Stad Amersfoort. We hadden keurig een persfotootje gestuurd, maar wat zien we vanochtend in de krant: allerlei STRONTlelijke foto's die willekeurig van Dirk's site af zijn geplukt, zelfs 3 foto's waar Dirk in z'n eentje op staat. We zijn echt boos gewoon op die KUTkrant, er zijn namelijk duizenden mensen die dit lezen en op zo'n manier kan je natuurlijk veel beter helemaal geen artikel in de krant hebben.

Next friday's gonna be one awesome night! We're proud to release our new EP in our hometown Amersfoort with our friends Laternpoll and one of Hollands finest punkbands the Travoltas! Yo good things are coming up! We're in a fucking hurry in order to make it before the deadline and it seems like we won't even screw it up this time! Well fuck it, why would we keep it secret: the cd releaseshow on the 1st of april is gonna be fucking awesome! We'll have 150 shirts, girlies and hoodies for your buying pleasure; we'll play one or more new songs; and of course there's gonna be 500 copies of our new demo, which is beginning to sound awesome. Our goal is to fill the whole venue, so bring all your friends (and enemies)!

Hey boys 'n girls, no shows planned at the moment so it's time for us to finally complete the demo which will be finished around march, let's hope we don't screw up this time. I promise we make it up to you with a freaking awesome releaseshow! I feel it's time to write new songs as well, but it takes some time to make sure they will be really better than the others. Btw, we're featured on the Punx.nl Pleurop Plaat 2 compilation cd which is cool, you can buy them for 5 bucks at our shows. We added some new live pictures from our one and only live photographer Jasper (satisfied now? hehe), check them out. Robin
